Malaysia - Day 2: Redang Island (21 Jun 2015)

We woke up to a hearty breakfast.

Kway teow soup and nasi lemak were some of the many available dishes.

After breakfast, we went back to get our equipment and bags for marine park snorkelling. WL was saying that he remembered that the Marine Park was nice and he was interested in that only (not the open sea one). So we had to pay the Marine Park fee at the recreation centre and were issued a ticket each. The briefing group looked even larger than Day 1's - I guess everyone was just as excited as we were!

We arrived at Marine Park and were surprised by the crowd. There were already even more people there (coming from other resorts). The sight was quite scary in fact. So we had to look for a spot to leave our belongings before we could get into the waters. We were very 随便 hence left our stuffs on the floor at a corner. There were a lot of dead corals by the shore and it saddens me as a fellow diver. :(

Anyway, it was quite hard to snorkel with so many people in the waters. Every turn you make, there would be someone there. I was very glad when it was time to get back on land and return to the boat.

Washed up, grabbed our lunch and headed to the beach to explore. We went to the legendary 夏日嬷嬷茶 house. They have turned the house into a souvenir shop with some framed up pictures/posters about the movie. We then went to check out the massage area. As there were not enough masseurs, we had our massage first while the guys went to find their modes of entertainment. The massage was so-so, but definitely relaxing especially during holidays. As we switched places with the guys, the two of us went to chill and chat by the beach.

When the guys were done, we hit the pool to "wash off" the massage oil and simply just relaxed. The jacuzzi was really shiok! Our last dinner at Redang Island was the BBQ Buffet! Woohoo! We simply just whacked the good food... And after dinner, what's a trip to Malaysia without MAGNUM? Simply cos it's 2-3 times cheaper than Singapore's! 😍
