there were simply many dogs all around. even stray dogs are soooo cute! especially the puppies! apparently we were somewhat all so excited when we saw them. seriously, they were too cute to resist.
the guys went to rent motorbikes. none of our guys had any experience biking but still, it didnt quite matter cos they dont bother about it in thailand. they can even have 3 or 4 pillions to one bike. nevertheless, our guys were good enough to master the biking skills in just a mere 10 mins or so. and then, we went on their bikes for a ride to dinner. we had a buffet dinner at this western style restaurant. and the price was dirt cheap! it was less than SGD20! we were all hungry and the buffet was just right to feed our hungry stomachs.
we then went riding in the late night. the wind was seriously cold and we had all left everything else in our rooms. at one point in time when we were making our way back from a beach that was about 20mins ride from our rooms, we lost each other. 2 other bikes took a shorter route which we didnt cover earlier. after riding for like 10 over mins, we felt that we should stop and wait somewhere cos it seemed that we were too fast and far in front. we waited for 15mins and jimmy left shuls behind with us while he went back to look for them. he returned with no news of them and we had no phones to contact them. we had either left our phones in the rooms or in the bag which was with them. we finally decided to head back to our rooms instead of waiting aimlessly. it was scary yet unforgettable cos it was funny when we realised they had actually taken a shorter route back. most important of all, we were all safe and sound! we went back, washed up and then gathered in our room for a drink. we got so excited and laughed so loud that the neighbour came banging at our door a couple of times. he had banged the door so hard that the door number had dropped off. we couldnt be bothered with him though. =p
